1. It exists in multiple essential oils and is used to flavor Carnation and Oriental type perfumes, as well as a modifier for isoeugenol.
2. It is widely used as a fixative for floral scents such as Dianthus, Rose, Chinese Jonquilla, and Ylang-Ylang.
3. It is suitable for use in Lolita (Perfume), Oriental, Spicy, and Woody fragrance types. Occasionally used as a spicy harmonizer in vanillin, chocolate and other edible perfumes, as well as in tobacco perfumes.
4. Cleaning products and household products like air freshener, bathroom cleaner.
