1. Food flavorant permitted by GB 2760-1996.
2. It is mainly used to prepare for raspberry, strawberry, berry, and mixed spices. Due to its stable properties, it is also used as perfume compound for soap.
3. It is used as a sweetening essence for floral and herbal perfumes.
4. It is commonly used as a fixative for carnation and French perfumes, and as a modifier for vanillin.
5. Its aroma is similar to clove but with rose-like undertones and a sweet, spicy aroma similar to cinnamon.
6. An essential oil constituent of nutmeg, clove and cinnamon, with excellent inhibitory effects against metabolic enzymes. It is used medical and cosmetics industries for its antioxidant, anticancer, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.
